Resulting in a highly complex management process of equally using and satisfying the skills and needs of each company.Responsibilities:As a sort of “cultural orchestra leader, ” I led a team of 15 staff members as a project director at The Advisor Group at the New University Hospital (RG DNU) in Aarhus, the largest hospital construction project in Danish and Northern European history. It was a complex $50Mn company with a headcount of 300 employees dedicated to this project for the client, Central Denmark Region.Achievements:• Planned and implemented new multidisciplinary working processes for optimizing and managing cycle times of subprojects, which fell by 35% and improving the profitability by 20%. • Trained and mentored staff from the different parent companies to degrade differences and boundaries in order to obtain important RG DNU culture (spirit), with everyone working for the same main goal, which was a complex task of fitting together a puzzle of cultural and behavioural differences in a larger complex system. • Was responsible for the resources, time, scope and quality of 4 subprojects, out of a total of 11, from planning to delivery. • Personally, the project gave me great insight into the behavior of a large project organization that serves a major public client.
