The goal of this program was to transition all tk Mining’s IT infrastructure into FLS IT to establish one common infrastructure from which FLS can further consolidate and simplify FLS systems and applications. We migrated applications and servers in 22 countries, migrated more than 130 applications, and provided more than 1.600 FLS PCs, all with migrated data and applications, and with full access to the FLS IT environment.At each carve-in of a country, the local business management team, the local users, the local IT team, and the core program team worked on a tight schedule with several months of preparation leading up to a very condensed carve-in weekend, where the actual switch from MinTech IT to FLS IT took place.
