Statoil V&M

Project Planner for offshore multidiscipline modification projects (NOK 2 - 60 millions) on Snorre A- and Snorre B platforms. I was assisting Project Leader by reporting Project status internally and externally, following up progress, critical line, changes, risks and ongoing engineering. Responsible for establishing and maintaining project plans, including packages, milestone-dates, baseline, etc. in line with available resources, internal procedures, customer and contractual requirements. Developed project specific work instructions, travelled offshore with technical disciplines during offshore survey and in installation/commissioning phase. In the Planning department I was promoted to “Senior”. The increasing responsibility and experience led to an opportunity to become a Project Manager.

Discipline supervisor for all planners in Aker Solutions MMO Stavanger (approx. 50 planners). Gave planning support crosswise all projects and tenders, arranged/conducted courses for both planners and non-planners, and arranged professional gatherings / trade networks in the Schedule Management Department. Contributed in updating the disciplines work instructions and procedures. Participated in and learned the tender process.

Coordinator for all planners located in Mumbai, India (5-8 planners). Responsible for ensuring that planning methodology and work instructions was communicated between the two offices, answering technical questions and queries, contributing with exchange of experience between the locations, training in project specific requirements. Developed planners in Mumbai by doing training, courses, quality checks, and answer all technical questions/queries. Followed up every planner in daily basis using video equipment, but had also a trip to Mumbai to meet the colleagues in person and optimize split location work.

Sterling White Halibut

Technician in two different halibut plants in the Ryfylke-fjords. The business was totally new at that time, and made it very exciting and interesting. There was no proven recipe, hence everyone had to think smart, be creative and learn by mistakes. Responsibilities was reporting, maintenance and inspection of plant and equipment, feeding, and various work (lifting operations, maintenance operations, mooring operations, transport operations, etc.) with winch, boats, cranes, forklifts, etc. During the time I developed my technical insight, completed various certificates for forklifts/cranes, and had sole responsibility for the plant and its great values in weekends/vacations.Sterling products have been praised by specialists all over the world, and have been used in Bocuse d’Or several years.

Planned, coordinated and promoted various projects, such as concerts, festivals, tours, tournaments. Contact with organizations, schools, police, etc. Leader for the democratically youth board in the municipality.
