I want to revolutionize the world of education. My heart is beating for the kids we lose in the current state of our educational system. I love games and playfulness. I am also a full blown nerd! A nuts and bolts kinda guy. I like to dive into details to really understand how and why things work. In the early 2000’s; I was working with at-risk youth, as a social educator. I noticed kids who were failing at school, displayed all the qualities their papers said they didn’t possess when I played games with them. I figured that perhaps there was really nothing wrong with these kids. Perhaps there was something wrong with the way we tried to teach them. I then started on a journey to figure out why that was, and how we can change the way to teach, to embrace these kids as well.
