About Torgeir Nordal Eikrem

I am born and live in Norway - Møre og Romsdal. I have studied electro and automation at Fagskolen i Møre of Romsdal (Ålesund).I have graduated with a technical degree in automation, and are holding two certificate of apprenticeship. One for Electrical (Gr.L) and one for Automation. I have a maritime ETR certificate (Electro Technical Rating).13 years+ of experience in marine & offshore electrical systems. Mostly newbuilding at shipyards, involving commissioning and testing of electrical power distribution systems, power management systems, battery hybrid solutions and generator control systems. Field service involving upgrades, fault-finding and testing of power distribution systems and PLC based automation system onboard sailing vessels. I have also experience form offshore work in Norway. Installing equipment in switchboards, motor starter testing and offshore crane involving PLC based control systems.Work Part time as a firefighter in Vanylven Brann og Redning.
