Develop software solutions to improve the production process, focusing on improving the production line to facilitate cost reductions. Currently working on automation systems to reduce the man-hours spent on measurements, and reduce the number of required measurement setups.

Product development for fiber-based telecommunication products, primarily dispersion compensating solutions. Responsibilities in all phases of product development from brainstorming with customers over specification definition, prototype construction and transition to production.Developed a number of PCBAs both for products and production/test setups. Wrote firmware for microcontrollers and software for measurement setups. Created a number of software programs to extract and analyse measurement and order information from the production database. Gradually gravitated towards a full-time software development position.
