I'm an online yoga instructor here to help you develop a yoga practice that will last years, not months, and give such a yoga glow and yoga butt, you'll have all of your friends and family asking how you are able to have it all. I have a firm belief that in order to change the world for the better, we must first heal ourselves.When I first traded in the sequins and spotlight of my musical theater career for leggings and a yoga mat, I was excited to share what a regular yoga practice can give to your life. I knew firsthand, having overcome a serious eating disorder, as well as, healing up my hip and low back issues, all through committing to getting on my mat day after day. After years of practice, it was time to share this yoga magic with as many people as possible.I began by teaching beginner's yoga in 2011, meeting every physical limitation, fear, doubt, and excuse each day when I met my students on their mat.I've taught students in wheel chairs and with walkers. Recovering from surgery or an injury? You were in my class. Hate your body? Yup, you were there. Looking for a great workout and not so sure about this whole yoga thing? We've met before.As the years clicked by and my enthusiasm and passion for teaching yoga grew, my experience also continued to develop. I began to create workshops and clinics to further assist my students and gained a crew of loyal yogis.Having a passion for advanced asana, I sought further education to be able to offer the next chapter to my students as they continued to develop their yoga practice."The students I love to teach aren't 'perfect' yogis, they're real people.No matter what obstacle you think you are facing in your yoga practice or your life, it's all fixable. Too many students and instructors, give up on their practice or quit completely, leaving behind a practice that at one time brought them balance, peace, and healing.Why? They got bored. They were "over it." They weren't able to find an instructor that could offer them next steps to reach for something more. And, that's where I come in.I'm here to shake up your practice, make you feel like a beginner again, and push you into the next phase of your yoga journey.Being an online yoga instructor is the BEST job in the world. There is nothing better than seeing people work for something greater in their lives and in their health. And, being online gives me the opportunity to connect with yoga students around the globe.
