My name is Tori Schmidt, and I am a junior studying Marketing with interests in finance and accounting in Kelley at Indiana University. I am from Dallas, TX where I attended the Episcopal School of Dallas where I was a student ambassador, student club vice president, honors student, and 4-year cross country and track captain. Outside of school, I was an ambassador for Feed the People, a sales associate for a local yoga studio, and an intern for a female owned design business. From these experiences, I learned more about my strengths in creativity and communication ultimately led me to pursue marketing here at Kelley. Aside from being a full-time student, I am involved in the Indiana University Athletics Program as a member of the track and field and cross-country team. In addition to running, I value my time and relationships. Overtime, I have worked hard to be an effective time manager so that I can spend time building relationships with my classmates, professors, teammates, and coaches. Although being a student-athlete can feel overwhelming at a Big10 school, I am in an “always learning” mindset which has allowed me to embrace failures and challenge myself to always give my best.
