I am currently working for the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus in the Environmental Initiatives Department as an Energy Efficiency Outreach Specialist. In this role, I am combining my passion for environmental policy and sustainable development, my educational background in Environmental Management and Urban Planning, along with my past professional experiences to promote a Home Energy Savings Program for single-family housing in nine communities surrounding the city of Chicago. The Home Energy Savings Program not only helps residents to manage their energy use and reduce their monthly utility costs, but it also helps to reduce residential carbon emissions, improve community's housing stock, and reduce energy burden in the area. Overall, I am making a positive impact on the lives of residents in the Chicago area as well as promoting a program that will leave a sustainable impact on communities.
