I am Toria. Yorkshire born, Worked and lived in East London for 11 yrs and now Vancouver based. A multi-disciplinary designer, illustrator and Creative/art director with over 17 yrs working in the creative industries. From that I've gained a wealth of experience spanning print, branding, Ui design, illustration and art direction on full campaigns. All driven with the intent to explore visual communication in all its forms. I founded and successfully ran design agency The Late Night Salon in Shoreditch, London for several years, as the lead designer and creative director. In June 2014, at its peak, I made the difficult decision to close it. Ceasing the partnership tied with the old agency and starting Stay Outside. This has been the most exciting, boldest and funnest part of my life so far.Doing this has enabled me to create a more in tune studio ethos, richer collaborations with other industry professionals and stronger, more transparent and fluid client relationships. I also have healthy obsessions with coffee, veganism, traditional crafts, skateboards, motorbikes, secret sub cultures and playtime. Staying a child in many people's eyes, but in mine, being an adult the way nature intended. I long for a life where I can surf, skate, illustrate, design, play and create in more equal parts. A big wave surfer once said.. "the greatest surfer, is the one having the most fun." - I'm trying to apply that to being a creative.
