Moonlight Cultural Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the cultural arts in Vista and North San Diego County. Launched in 1974, the Foundation made its first contribution to the community with the construction of Moonlight Amphitheatre, a gift to the city in honor of the nation's bicentennial. The Foundation has continued to assist with the development of the Moonlight Amphitheatre through capital campaigns and special events. The Foundation promotes philanthropy in North County, benefiting quality theatrical and cultural arts performances at the Moonlight Amphitheatre. In addition, the Foundation funds youth theatre and educational outreach programs for children to introduce our next generation to the cultural arts.

Secure new and past sponsors. Develop and guide corporate and community relationships.Work closely with board of directors in an active fundraising role.Manage assigned partners (national and local), facilitate renewals, actively seek new sources of funding, work to create a win-win while increasing support for Make-A-Wish.Oversee and supervise volunteer committee members. Cross-department coordination.Oversee and build media relations and partnerships.Successful fundraiser and motivator.Beyond primary event duties, I worked closely with local media and led a number of holiday themed events and campaigns designed to raise the public’s awareness of the Foundation and drive new donations. Working closely with many corporate partners of the Foundation, including retail, banking, hotels/resorts, small businesses, professional groups and many individuals I was able to successfully achieve year-over-year event revenue growth.
