Our team works with R&D and Product Management to develop new Coated Abrasive products for our customers.Under my supervision, the team field tests all new products that come out of R&D. I am also responsible for training new sales personnel and distributors. My goal is to create the highest quality abrasive products for our applications and customers.

From 2008 to 2014, I was the Quality/Process/Project Manager, and my role was to manage the Quality Assurance group to ensure the highest level of quality. I also designed and modified equipment, processes and products to improve service reliability and reduce costs.During 2007 and 2008, as the Maintenance Superintendent, I managed all three unions in order to maintain all of our equipment and facilities on all three shifts in the plant.As Senior Process Engineer, from 2006 to 2007, I was responsible for existing and new process improvements for cost and efficiency in the plant. I was also the project leader for Maker 23.

From 2004 to 2006, as Senior Application Engineer, I was responsible for developing cost savings at various customer locations. This included new process development and testing as well as training.Spanning from 2001 to 2004, as Process Engineer/Quality Assurance Supervisor, I supervised the Quality Assurance group to ensure that quality levels were satisfied. Additionally, I designed or modified equipment, processes and products to improve reliability, reduce costs and increase plant capacity.From 1991 to 2001, in the role of Manager of Pilot Manufacturing & Coated Abrasive Grinding Center, I managed a team of engineers and technicians, and supported the R&D group in new product development efforts.In the role of Assistant Research Engineer, from 1986 to 1990, I conducted experimental investigations in the pursuit of knowledge of new technologies. I was also responsible for factory scale ups on new products from R&D.I joined the company in 1978 as a Process Development Technician. My role was to perform routine testing and data collection to support all product and process development efforts.
