Managing a complex programme of projects to plan and deliver a whole site master plan. The purpose of the programme was to significantly enhanced its appeal to visitors, widen its market appeal, to improve its commercial performance and protect its heritage for the long term. Having strong marketing and communications skills to engage a wide range of stakeholders and attract funding was vital.

Managing a project for the Lakes region to improve the offer to National Trust supporters and visitors in the countryside, raising the profile of our key outdoor places and in doing so helping to ensure financial sustainability of these special places. I used my experience of brand management and development, strategy development, visitor insights and project management. To increase the support from tourism businesses for conservation projects in the Lake District. Over two years achieved increase of 35% for fundraising support and business membership. Managed and produced the first Green Guide to Cumbria and the Lake District as a project between several key organisations in conservation and tourism. Re-developed the website to improve usability and traffic. Organised press days and press releases, gaining local TV and newspaper coverage.
