I started up my own L&D Consultancy due to the high demand from sales & recruitment businesses that I had previously built relationships with. Working with Directors and Managers to build and tailor training and coaching programmes for their sales staff and team leaders, examples of these include; - Created and rolled out a recruitment consultant ‘Academy’ for brand new 360 consultants in the social care/social work industry. Wrote, delivered and evaluated the entire program working closely with the director and team leaders, providing feedback on the participants and following their progress. Worked up from a trainee to a senior member of the sales team in the busy Reading office. My role was extremely varied and fast paced while always providing excellent customer service and meeting high sales targets From arranging and conducting viewings, attending valuations, managing relationships with our vendors, and being involved in the whole legal process of a house purchase. I won many awards and incentives for sales until I was headhunted by Austin Fraser.

Working and living in 6 different locations around Europe, in beach resorts, as well as ski destinations, this role required my full commitment and dedication every day.Providing the highest level of customer service to all types of people as well as achieving high sales targets. Organisation was key in this role as well as presenting to and entertaining large and varied audiences. I worked intense hours in pressurised environments, in hotels, airports and within crisis situations, including strikes, fires and even deaths.I also hosted the massive merger between Thomson & First Choice at Disneyland Paris where we became part of the TUI Travel group.

Working with IT specialist companies, liasing with journalists to encourage PR and advertising with specialist IT magazines and newspapers. This included activities such as writing articles and setting up interviews between my clients and journalists. Hosting and attending IT exhibitions in order to network with industry specialists and promote our clients and their products to gain sales and positive coverage in the tabloids.
