Torbee slows things down in a fast-paced world.Torbee is a sweet, wholesome show with wonder at the center of everything. Our content is designed to be slower yet engaging. It’s created by a mom with moms in mind. Meaning - Torbee can help bridge the gap between screen time and play time. Of course we want your kids to love watching Torbee, but we actually really want them to be so inspired to create and explore that they want to turn the TV off. We want Torbee to promote wonder and joy about things in the real world, and not just the virtual one. Designed for kids under 10Torbee's education style is inspired by the Montessori and Waldorf methods. The Montessori method involves children's natural interests and activities & places an emphasis on hands-on learning and developing real-world skills. The Waldorf educational style is holistic and intends to develop children's intellectual, artistic, and practical skills, with focus on imagination and creativity.Torbee has a "homegrown" and "resourceful" feel to it. Important elements to our vibe are using what we have & taking our time. We want our viewers to be able to turn off the show and go create, play, and imagine with the tools and supplies they already have in their own homes and enjoy time outdoors. We want kids to feel the freedom to slow down and allow themselves time to learn and play and not fall into the pressure of materialism and consumerism.
