My main responsibilities in this role include working with clients and communities on: -ESG and Sustainability reporting (integrating reporting frameworks and standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, TRC, UNDRIP, SDGs, ISSB) -IESG (Indigenous Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting -Stakeholder, community, and Indigenous engagement -Strategy development.

• Manage annual reporting projects, including the annual Institutional Sustainability Report which is shared through the lens of the UN's SDGs
• Develop ranking submission for Times Higher Education’s Impact rankings, resulting in the University of Calgary recently ranking 43rd globally out of over 1100 institutions
• Continuously benchmark sustainability progress against peers to identify areas for improvement to help inform Key Performance Indicators
• Engage with campus stakeholders to discuss sustainability progress and collect high-quality sustainability data for reporting
• Member of Institutional Data Network, which discusses best practices for data collection and reporting on campus
• Member of the Governed Reports Working Group, which successfully developed a draft Data Governance Framework to ensure reports released on campus have rigorous data governance

• Main responsibility included advising and supporting operational partners on campus (i.e. waste, water, energy, food services, supply chain management etc) on integrating sustainability best practices into their daily.

• Developed communications pieces for various sustainability events including event emails, webpages, PowerPoint presentations, speaking notes and post-event surveys
• Coordinated the event planning for the annual Sustainability Awards; worked with the communications partners to develop pieces to promote the awards and encourage the campus members to submit applications
• Supported the writing of content for the Campus as a Learning Lab Guidebook and the Campus Green Events Guide
• Prepared applications for various sustainability awards, which involved contacting stakeholders and writing content for the applications

Contract position to assist with roll-out of new organics collection program.

• Summer conservation student with the Town of Okotoks, two consecutive summers
• Worked with the community and interacted with residents to encourage them to adopt conservation-based behaviours
• Analyzed 2010-2014 Residential and Commercial/Industrial water consumption to observe the effects of various water consumption policies on water usage; wrote a report stating the findings
• Wrote a final report summarizing the programs and initiatives from the summers and presented the data to the Town Council and Mayor
