He was responsible for all development and operations related to system and applications for delivering financial services in Innovation Norway. This included all existing and new loans, grants, and guarantees that amounted to NOK 7.1 billion in 2022. The teams handled development and operation of specialized systems and customer portals, as well as API integrations with external solutions such as core banking, authentication, credit assessment and AML. The product teams, with team leads, architects, system developers, and business developers, comprised a total of 15 people and worked using agile methods. His role included a place in the Finance Division's management group and IT management group. Torkel had close dialogue and collaboration with the Director of the Finance Division, IT Director, and Director of Business Development and Digitalization.
