Founded after the fall of the Berlin wall and the iron curtain, the Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation aims to promote co-operation and European development based on freedom, democracy and market economy. This is done through education and information on democracy and European integration directed to political parties and organisations in developing and transit countries.Working as a project manager, one must on daily basis be able to deal with stressful situations, be organised, and have a constant open mind for unforeseen events and associated problem solving. My tasks include being in charge of international political delegations, tailoring meetings and trainings at all political levels, and through fact-finding missions identifying co-operation organisations and their specific needs, respectively. Most activities take place on-site, in each country or region, where the operations are targeted.

GAGFAH's portfolio includes almost 144,000 own residential units and more than 35,000 units under property and facility management for third parties in Germany.The internship as property manager in the district of Westphalia was combined with German language studies through IS-Düsseldorf and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce. Acquired experiences include professional German language skills in engineering, on-site property inspections, hiring of subcontractors to resolve complaints and on-site follow-ups.

In my role as supervisor, I was responsible for the daily operations. Acquired experiences include leadership in stressful environments, quick decision-making, daily delegation of tasks among employees, and technical on-site problem solving.

Internship as construction project manager during the reconstruction of Eneby Torg, a local town square in the suburbs of Stockholm. The former town square was demolished and replaced with four modern apartment buildings. My tasks included assisting in project management, quantifying building materials, daily safety checks, and monitoring the work in accordance with the construction schedule.

My tasks were concentrated around daily security checks and assisting the project management, with a particular focus on monitoring the painting and carpentry work.
