Project Manager
CurrentFounded after the fall of the Berlin wall and the iron curtain, the Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation aims to promote co-operation and European development based on freedom, democracy and market economy. This is done through education and information on democracy and European integration directed to political parties and organisations in developing and transit countries.Working as a project manager, one must on daily basis be able to deal with stressful situations, be organised, and have a constant open mind for unforeseen events and associated problem solving. My tasks include being in charge of international political delegations, tailoring meetings and trainings at all political levels, and through fact-finding missions identifying co-operation organisations and their specific needs, respectively. Most activities take place on-site, in each country or region, where the operations are targeted.
