About Mark Torok
I started my career at Consulting Hungary, first as a customer service representative from 2019 and recently being promoted to junior sales representative. I have just recently graduated at university as an English-Hungarian teacher, I have gained valuable experience in both education and the corporate industry. In 2021, I broadened my professional horizons by working as a communications manager for a newly established IT recruitment start-up. I am also involved in volunteering, where I pass on my knowledge and skills to children suffering from chronic or temporary illnesses within a Hungarian NGO (KórházSuli). My passion for technology has found expression in several hobby projects in Javascript and HTML. I combine pedagogical, communication and technical skills, which allows me to develop professionally and personally in a dynamic way.Also, I am all for finding better solutions and optimising processes in business as well as in teaching. That's why I explored programming languages and frameworks such as Google Apps Script, SQL, Web Audio API, Web Speech API, Baselinker API etc.

Customer Service Representative
I started as a customer service representative and warehouse manager, which was a really nice combination of physical and intellectual work. As I was a bridge between the customers and the companies, I was able to develop in a number of fields such as communication, customer relations, management, process optimisation, but also, I grew extensively in terms of working with people, gaining invaluable interpersonal skills (eg. empathy, compassion, and building a relationship with the customers).During my short-term and long-term teaching practice, I was unable to continue in this position, so it wasn't until 2023 that I could start working with this company again.

However short time it was, I was happy to work with this IT recruitment start-up. I could gain insight into the beginning of a start-up, as well as learn together with my team about recruitment, nearshoring, and dedicated teams. Unfortunately, COVID put a stop to this and a month later, I started my short-term teaching practice, so I was unable to continue working here.
