We did a lot of work with hardware distributors.Retained SearchMy partner went to work for Deloitte & Touche in their Executive Search practice and, eventually, I began to work on contract for Deloitte and other retained search firms like PwCWorking with the big brand companies exposed me to a wide range of senior searches in the public and private sectors but I also did a lot of work recruiting both internal and external auditors.Once the big consulting firms decided to close their recruiting practices I continued to work with the smaller organizations that spun off from them serving the same type of clientUSAIn 2009, I began to work on occasional searches with American recruiters I've met online in the USA. It's really no different from working in Canada.
