About Torquil B.
I have worked in the communication industry for more than 30 years – for the past 25 as Managing Director of TTV pictures. I have written , directed and produced five television series and won international recognition for films on defence and veteran issues. I bring the same creative energy to web-based or short form social media video content as I do to documentaries or TV series. I am also on the committee of the Chinese think tank The 48 Group Club ( the48groupclub.com) helping to develop understanding and harmony through commerce with China.The subjects I have filmed are diverse and eclectic – from billion dollar City dealings to the plight of homeless street dwellers & from UK special forces to Oxfam. I believe that everyone has a story to tell: “Our work, our victories and our struggles are what make us human and fascinating”. Through TTV I have trained and mentored a network of young and aspirational film-makers and editors. This network allows me to assemble the very best talent for my film projects.

Veterans Aid is a highly organised military based charity helping veterans of the armed services in times of crisis . With a small specialized team the aim is "A hand up ...not a hand out" They provide shelter when homeless, treatment with alcohol and drug abuse and most importantly dignity. Last year they provided 5000 veterans with support.
