(Contract position)I was originally hired on a one year contract to work at the downtown Indianapolis corporate office in the Business Systems department and later on was transferred to the distribution site in Plainfield Indiana. I support multiple distribution systems through SAP and other warehouse management interfaces in a Microsoft Environment (Exchange, Active Directory, Sharepoint, Lync). Other roles include network security, infrastructure support, WMS devices, SharePoint design and administration, MS SQL, Oracle, and SQL Reporting Services.

IT Manager and Engineer on contract for the Walgreens NextGen 1.0 Project. In this project I was responsible to oversee 6+ technicians per store in rolling out and converting Walgreens stores in the Indianapolis area as well as a primary district consisting of a 300 mile radius of Indiana. Responsibilities include converting POS systems and Pharmacy servers over to a virtualized environment using a blade IMS server, Firewall installation, Cisco managed switch deployment, and full network reconfiguration. Implementation of server racks, converting desktop servers such as AS/400’s to rack mounts and upgrading old or obsolete systems depending on each store’s configuration.

IT operations and engineer for large law firm in downtown Indianapolis. Originally chosen as a temporary replacement on the helpdesk while the current helpdesk technician was out for 3 months, this company found that my level of expertise would be beneficial throughout the entire IT department. Continued to expand my contract further in order to roll out new hardware to the attorneys, create and maintain system images, implement new server systems and upgrade current systems such as Microsoft Exchange, Symantec, Active Directory, and implement a VM Ware Virtual environment for the law firm. Other daily duties included troubleshooting escalated tickets, engineering issues, finding security issues and addressing them, and assisting lead engineers on daily tasks.

Short temporary contract with Pharmaceutical company Lilly in tier 2 and 3 support. Managed remote systems, Active directory, Lotus Notes/Domino Server,and troubleshooting advanced PC and networking issues, and providing secured access to external collaborators through firewall and citrix systems.
