Head of Access to Capital and DEI at the US Bank Community Development Corporation (CDC). Responsible for a team that identifies entities led or owned by Black and Persons of Color to achieve our goal of closing the racial wealth gap. US Bank CDC does this through its investments and loans to affordable housing developers, private equity funds, renewable energy project developers and CDFIs. We look to participate in partnerships and programs that can assist us in achieving these bold goals.

We can assist with strategic planning, preparing a business plan and where necessary identify other organizations that can provide specific services such as bookkeeping, financial audits, legal counsel, etc.Project finance/ Loan PackagingAssist an organization with packaging a loan request, interact with their banker and closing; Gather the necessary documents; ensure the financial information on the application makes sense; provide insights into specific banks' lending practices; coach business owners on how to talk to bankers; and in certain situations, suggest alternative financing.

CLARIDIGM is a management consulting firm which helps its clients optimize organizational performance by providing services that support them as they face challenges of increased demands for services and accountability, while their revenue streams have either decreased or become stagnant.

Works with LISC’s community partners to further planning of catalytic projects coming out of LISC's Quality of Life Planning process. Helps organizations develop capital stacks and financing sources for projects.

Currently serves as Managing Director of Lending for IFF, a CDFI focused on lending to nonprofit entities and affordable housing developers for the acquisition, construction and rehabilitation of commercial real estate. an Working with a team of 12 professions, he is responsible for originating and underwriting $100 million a year in new loans throughout IFF’s ten state footprint within the Midwest.

Responsibilities included the day-to-day management of the Illinois office including the oversight of all business development, program management, marketing and communications and personnel development and management.Successes including growing portfolio by 100%, growing the Illinois team by 66%.

Torrence Moore, founder of TMA serves as LINK Unlimited's Interim President as the board conducts a national search for its permanent president. In this role, he oversees the agency's $3.2M budget, manages the day-to-day operations, assists with fundraising, mentor recruitment and program oversight working with its staff of 12 employees.Founded in 1966, LINK Unlimited Scholars is Chicago’s highest performing and most experienced high school mentoring and scholarship program. LINK has successfully transitioned over 1,850 economically disadvantaged African American youth to college by providing academic support, scholarship and one-on-one mentoring through the high school years and beyond. LINK scholars have attended many selective colleges and universities, and have moved on to become successful in their own right, as business professionals, educators, engineers, architects, attorneys, doctors and more. Many LINK alumni are now mentors and benefactors of current LINK scholars.

Kiwanja is a private equity fund focused on the acquisition, remediation and redevelopment of brownfields which are properties that have a real or perceived environmental contamination. Our goal is to rid the properties of the contamination and return the property to productive use. Our geographic footprint is the Midwest and California where our team is located and have significant deal flow.

To capitalize on success realized in the Bank's Community Development Corporation in 2005, I joined the Bank's Public Funds Division to grow our commercial banking portfolio of state and local government clients. During this time, I was successful in growing our relationship with the City of Chicago and County of Cook. As a part of the $1.3 Billion sale of the City of Chicago Skyway, I negotiated with the City Treasurer's Office for LaSalle to be the depository of funds to establish a loan fund for small businesses. I was also successful in obtaining a $104 million senior manager role with Cook County. In April 2007, Bank of America agreed to acquire LaSalle Bank from ABN AMRO.

Held several positions within the bank's Commercial Banking Group over a ten year period starting as an Assistant Vice President to promotion to Manageing Director. Originally joined the bank to start up its Community Development Corporation, a wholly-owned bank subsidiary focused on making equity investments in real estate, private equity funds, low-income housing tax credits and private companies. I grew the portfolio from $0 to nearly $100 million. This growth came primarily as a result of our reaching out and partnering with local government and nonprofits in Illinois and Michigan. As a result of the CDC's investments the bank obtained an outstanding rating on its 2005 CRA examination from the OCC.
