During this time, I was successful in growing our relationship with the City of Chicago and County of Cook. As a part of the $1.3 Billion sale of the City of Chicago Skyway, I negotiated with the City Treasurer's Office for LaSalle to be the depository of funds to establish a loan fund for small businesses. I was also successful in obtaining a $104 million senior manager role with Cook County. In April 2007, Bank of America agreed to acquire LaSalle Bank from ABN AMRO.

I grew the portfolio from $0 to nearly $100 million. This growth came primarily as a result of our reaching out and partnering with local government and nonprofits in Illinois and Michigan.
