Where I grew up:I was born in Dallas, Texas. I grew up in South West Dallas in a small town called Arcadia Park. It was a mainly Mexican-American neighborhood. I attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. I signed up up for the visual arts cluster. I excelled in jewelry silversmithing, drawing and painting. I wanted to attend Rhode Island School of Design but my parents did not have the funds. My Army AdventureAfter HS I joined the Army. "Where's the Winnebago?" I volunteered again while in AIT to join the 82nd Airborne Division to jump out of planes. After jump school I was assigned to the historic 2/504th at Ft. Bragg where I served as a 31U, communications.Life as a Radio Technician Once my enlistment ended I worked for a Motorola Dealer in N.C. I then moved back to Dallas after a decade there.A SalesmanDallas brought me the opportunity to become a salesman. The company I worked for saw my potential selling 2 way radios. I did very well. At the same time I learned graphic design, and website design. I dove into sales, advertising, and marketing. I learned a lot. An Entrepreneur After years of working for people I started a small mowing business on the side. After a few years of "learning" the business grew into what we call today On Point Contractors.
