Strontium Enterprises is my first enterprise venture. My role is to manage daily operations, sales, and customer support for the company. This young, energetic, innovative and customer driven company was founded in 2009 aimed to serve Philippine information and communications industry as sub-contractor to the leading telecommunications service providers in the Philippines. My telecom experience makes me feel comfortable to jump in the telecommunications service contracting industry. It was a bad timing though since the industry has become very tight because of the influx of Chinese products and service. So in 2010, the company decided to start and just focus on SME's by offering office products, and on 2012 Strontium began offering Software product and Professional IT services that can help their SME's run more cost efficient.From late 2013, Strontium Enterprises turns corporate to become Strontium Hex Technologies Incorporated. I made a major decision and change for a new direction and focus on customized software. It starts offering web-based custom applications that run in the cloud. Strontium began investing and focusing majority of its resources into the cloud & server based business information services.Strontium's vision is to be a valuable IT partner and Business Solutions Developer for Philippine SME's by providing business applications development, creative and technical services that are not only snug-fit to the client needs, but also easy to finance. Nov 2007 - August 2008:My next and last role at INTEX. As Systems Engineer doing pre-sales support for Account Managers. My role is to provide technology presentation, providing proof-of-concept, demo, tests and certification of all the products and solutions of INTEX. I learned to appreciate the importance of customers and sales. :)Nov 2006 - Nov 2007:My friend and mentor Jules Berran pulled me from the Implementation to Support group because he believe that I can take the role. I accept without taking a breath as soon as he said "do you want to lead the field support group?". My next role as Field Support Group Leader is an eye opener. My role as implementation engineer taught me to be analytic and to focus on solving problems. From analyzing customer complaints, to alarms and logs to field reports. Correlating this information to make the operations team as preventive, instead of reactive. This role improved my analytic and reporting skills but it also made me realize that technical jobs doesn't make the dough. I realized that those who create the projects make the most money in the company...I was like "WTH" and it feels like the energy that excites me was sucked from me. Aside from feeling like I deserve more than what I get, my mentor Jules also left the company, so I started to find where I can find my energy again.May 2006 - Nov 2006:Two weeks after passing the board exam, I applied and started working for INTEX as a Telecom Engineer doing the roles as implementation engineer and then as team leader. I started with the implementation of MSAN projects in PLDT exchange installation and then after 6 months change role as implementation team leader. Its fun :) and exciting at first when I still discovering and learning but it gets boring Zzzz after awhile since the job feels like repetitive after you get to experience all the possible scenarios. So after 6 months, I feel I want something else. My mind is on the job but my heart is looking somewhere else.
