• Manage the day-to-day operations of a trucking terminal of 20+ drivers.• Demonstrate conflict resolution skills through assisting drivers with hours of service issues, route coordination, trip planning, and load assignment requirements.• Review drivers hours of service to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation.• Obtain, input and submit drivers paperwork for payroll processing.• Collect and maintain vehicle inspection reports to ensure continuous safe operation of company equipment.• Oversee transportation activities and recommend changes to attain optimum efficiency and quality service.• Strategically maximize asset utilization through matching driver and equipment availability to customers demand.• Oversee inbound and outbound traffic to ensure adequate resources are available to accommodate current and future work demands.• Balance multiple tasks while continuously motivating, empowering, and communicating clear instructions to others.• Perform daily inventory checks on company equipment.• Maintain effective communication with drivers, dispatchers, and terminal managers to confirm on- time pickups and deliveries.
