Philz Coffee

I pioneered the yoga program at Philz coffee. I have been a barista for a long time, and I am familiar with the stress it puts on your body. I contacted the management at Philz stating I wanted to teach a weekly class to any Philz employee who wanted yoga. I hold space for the students, lead them through a gentle series of Asanas (poses) that specifically stretch and strengthen the shoulders, wrists, entire arms and the spine.

I did my teacher training with Yoga to the People, and I have been involved in this yoga community for several years. Now that I teach there I manage the studio during classes, lead students through Asanas (poses), welcome new students to studio, work with new teachers, and breathe.

I booked the talent for this weekly drawing group. I contacted new and existing models, and acted as a liaison between models and artists. I organized weekly drawing sessions, managed funds and payed the models.

500-Hour Certified Yoga Instrucor, Yoga Therapeutics

I am currently in pursuit of a 500 hour yoga teacher certification with Yoga Tree. This advanced yoga teacher training has a focus.
