Worked with a cross-functional leadership team from Snapchat’s network and AV infrastructure, Global Security, Facilities, Construction and Finance teams to develop the framework. Developed, maintained and communicated the network and AV infrastructure project roadmap.• Provided project management support to the Global Security team to plan the development and roll out of a new access control platform across the enterprise. This platform improved the physical security, access control and emergency management capabilities for all Snapchat offices and key assets.

These offices are part of Riot’s national and global expansion. Technologies deployed in the new offices include Juniper network products, Dell server products and Gigamon security products.• Managed a cross-functional team of 10 from Riot’s IT infrastructure team and outside vendors to build the network, systems, security and audio/visual IT infrastructure for an expansion of Riot’s corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. Coordinated work and schedules with the general contractor, construction teams, electrical teams and structured cabling vendors. PROJECT: NEW DATA CENTER BUILDSBUDGET: $8MTEAM #: 31 PEOPLE• Managed a cross-functional team of 31 from Westfield’s IT infrastructure and application teams and outside vendors in Westfield’s Los Angeles corporate headquarters to build 2 state-of-the art, 100% virtual data centers in Nevada and Virginia that will provide a stable and secure private cloud infrastructure and room for future growth for Westfield’s U.S. business. Technologies deployed in the new data centers include Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solution, Cisco virtual servers, Cisco network and security hardware, Nimble flash storage, VEEAM and Veritas backup software and Zerto replication software for disaster recovery.• Managed the migration of all U.S. Westfield applications and databases to the new data centers including 150 applications ranging from infrastructure applications such as Active Directory to business applications such as JD Edwards Financial Management and Oracle databases.• Managed the migration of Westfield’s U.S. business locations, including Westfield’s corporate headquarters, new data centers and 61 mall centers and regional offices, to a new Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) high performance data network. • Managed the implementation of a new telephony system including a new dial plan and Cisco’s Unified Communications Manager with collaboration features such as click-to-dial. • Managed upgrades to Westfield’s video conference infrastructure for seamless, easy-to-use, high resolution video conferencing that is integrated with Cisco’s WebEx Collaboration Meeting Room (CMR) solution.• Managed the desktop and mobile rollout and training for Cisco WebEx, Cisco Jabber IM, Westfield’s upgraded video conference system and new Cisco desktop phones to Westfield’s 1000 corporate employees. PROJECT: WINDOWS SERVER UPGRADES BUDGET: $1.5M TEAM #: 14 PEOPLE• Managed a cross-functional team of 14 from Molina’s IT application and infrastructure teams and outside vendors in Molina’s Los Angeles headquarters and New Mexico data center to build and deploy Symantec’s Data Center Security Server Advanced (DCSSA) application and to complete operating system (OS) upgrades from Windows Server 2003 to 2012 R2 and related application and database server migrations for over 700 servers. The OS upgrades ensured Microsoft support and improved the performance and reliability for many critical customer-facing applications.PROJECT: VIRTUAL SERVER BLOCK CAPACITY EXPANSION AND DATA MIGRATIONS BUDGET: $2.5M TEAM #: 10 PEOPLE• Managed a cross-functional team of 10 from Molina’s IT application and infrastructure teams and outside vendors in Molina’s Los Angeles headquarters and New Mexico data center to build, deliver and deploy VCE virtual server block systems (Vblocks). PROJECT: IDENTITY ACCESS MANAGEMENTBUDGET: $1.7MTEAM #: 42 PEOPLE• Managed a cross-functional team of 42 from DIRECTV’s IT application and infrastructure teams and outside vendors in DIRECTV’s Los Angeles headquarters and Denver and Phoenix data centers to implement the RSA Identity Management and Governance (RSA IMG) application solution (formerly called Aveksa) into the DIRECTV enterprise. Implementation included building development, test, production and disaster recovery environments followed by the configuration, testing and production implementation of RSA IMG. RSA IMG supports 14 critical DIRECTV applications and enhances the user experience and online capabilities for all 16K+ DIRECTV employees. The application provides Human Resources with automated provisioning and de-provisioning capabilities and employees with IT access self-care and enhanced user access reporting capabilities. The new system ensures that application upgrades and patches are performed in a timely manner, decreases administrative overhead and enhances compliance with user access rules.PROJECT: ENTERPRISE MONITORINGBUDGET: $650KTEAM #: 16 PEOPLE• Managed a cross-functional team of 16 from DIRECTV’s IT application and infrastructure teams and outside vendors in DIRECTV’s Los Angeles headquarters and Denver and Phoenix data centers to integrate the Aternity monitoring and alerting application solution with critical DIRECTV applications including Sales CRM and Siebel. Integration included the completion of environment builds followed by the configuration, testing and production implementation of the solution. The application provides performance management and end user monitoring tools to maintain proper functioning of the Sales CRM and Siebel applications and associated infrastructure.• Managed the build-out and OS configuration of server clusters to create disaster recovery environments where none existed for 9 critical DIRECTV applications.

• Managed a team of 5 including 3 software developers, a SharePoint SME and a trainer in Washington D.C. to redesign the SharePoint intranet environment at the International Trade Administration (ITA), Department of Commerce. • Implemented Scrum development techniques including user story creation, estimating, sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily Scrum meetings, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives to develop custom applications in the SharePoint environment for several ITA business units.• Worked with executive leadership, governance board and other ITA employees to identify and implement the most desired functionality and “look and feel” elements of the redesigned intranet and to develop strategies for increasing buy-in and adoption among all ITA employees upon launch.
