I am responsible for helping certified Ford technicians at dealerships all over the USA and Canada find solutions to the problems they face via a web form or phone calls. By gathering information of what has already been done and then researching the concern further, we are able to help fix customer vehicles and get them back on the road in a timely manner. This requires a great deal of clear communication through technical writing and thoughtful questioning to better understand the situation and then move forward to resolve the concern at hand.

I had the privilege to intern with Ford Motor Company in the Technical Assistance Center. We were trained from the ground up in assigned commodities and within 8 weeks we were contributing employees to the Center, aiding Ford/Lincoln dealers with diagnosing and repairing their trouble vehicles. I was assigned to the Diesel Team with no previous diesel experience or background and was assisting in the repair of Ford Diesel products. I learned a great deal about diesels in general but I gained a stronger process for solving problems and finding solutions in a systematic manner, a process which can be applied to anything.

I was an intern assigned to work along side the design and mechanical engineers overseeing all hardware designed, modeled and created for ASI products. SolidWorks was a key part of this internship. I played a large role for a recent contract in the mining division in which I created and wrote the majority of the in-house assembly instructions for new hardware created and assisted in the instructions for on-site installation of said parts.

Calgary, Canada Area

I was responsible for the maintenance and necessary repairs on all Suncoast products within a 150 mile radius. I serviced anything from leaks to door, screen and even roof replacements.

Pocatello, Idaho Area

I took part in diagnosing electrical issues on customers vehicles we received through the school. We were responsible for communicating with the customer, diagnosing concerns, ordering parts and researching data to resolve the concerns.
