My career in youth development started in college when I taught tap dance at a Boys & Girls Club, which led to helping design arts curricula for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Next, I was the Education Director at a large youth theater company, running after-school enrichment classes and summer camps for over a decade. It was in this role that I discovered my passion for making sure kids with disabilities could participate, and I joined a start-up nonprofit called Kids Included Together (KIT), where I served as the CEO for 12 years, expanding the KIT mission to all 50 states and 15 countries. This led me to AlphaBEST Education, a national company that provides inclusive educational solutions in partnership with schools. To my role at AlphaBEST, I bring my background in afterschool, my growth innovation skills, my passion for inclusion, and my experience developing leaders. I strive to lead with the creativity of Greta Gerwig, the business acumen of Taylor Swift, and the heart of Ted Lasso. When I'm not working on making the world a better place for kids, you can find me at home in San Diego reading one of the 200 books I own (and will read!).
