As part of the product management team I, in collaboration with my team members, helped tospecify the overall purpose of communityengine.com.au 's social commerce site and the general feature set based on our research and market analysis.• Following Agile Development Principles my tasks included establishing and maintaining an ongoingroad map for the upcoming 3 to 6 months as well as a detailed delivery plan for the 3 weeks ahead.• In my team with 5 developers including a technology lead I was responsible for the featureprioritisation and delivery as part of the weekly release process which included facilitating daily stand upmeetings, on demand feature and story estimation sessions and review meetings.• I regularly conducted meetings with internal and external stakeholders to discuss new ideas and features, to keep the road map up to date and to confirm and commit to the short term release plan. Since the product was on the market our feature prioritisation and improvement process also took into account userbehaviour and feedback as well as the market response to the site.• As the target audience were small business owners who are very time restricted and possible not verytechnical minded, usability and user experience were my highest priorities in the design the site'sfeatures, forms and overall structure.• I was initially in charge of the design and delivery of social features (post, comment, like,share, follow and notifications) and the personal news feed.• As well as the above I also helped to design and deliver the membership and direct messagingsolution including platform emails.• Later I was responsible for the recommendation engine that was used for the personalisednoticeboard as well the 3rd party API and integration with external services.• In the end I primarily worked on the implementation of the data warehouse, business intelligencesolution, web analytics and search engine optimisation.

Using my skills in software engineering and my experience as a Business Analyst to play a key role in realising the company's vision to become an integrated document service provider.Maintain the epicenter National Showcase Facility to enable consistent high quality customer demonstrations Develop and implement efficiency improvements in the maintenance and demonstration of hardware and workflow solutions.Achievements: Design and successful implementation of a web based application warehouse and workflow driven file testing portal. The portal automatically integrates with other existing workflow solutions and features three different user interfaces: Web Browser, iPhone and iPad. It is implemented in ASP.NET C# 3.5 and MSSQL 2005.Creation of policies, administrator guidelines and user guides to enable efficiency improvements in the maintenance and demonstration of workflow solutions. Project coordination and business analysis for the redevelopment of a booking and resources management portal. My project management and software engineering skills enabled us to run the project internally and saved the company the cost of outsourcing the project. It also prevented the risk of not getting the right solution from an external provider who doesn't understand the business requirements.

The core business of NEED Pty Ltd was the development of a web portal that enables employers and recruiters to find and place candidates more efficiently.Responsibilities:• Consult customers and colleagues to gather business requirements for each product module and the complete solution.• Rapidly transform ideas or concepts into application prototypes to test workability and usability.• Develop functional requirements specifications and create entity relationship diagrams including data normalisation.• Manage offshore development teams and be a single point of contact for overseas developers in regards to all technical issues.• Manage product functionality and usability test cycles.• Create and analyse database reports to provide the business with information about the usage of the portal and the captured data.Achievements:• Successfully coordinated the software development life cycle of nine major projects that completed the B2B recruitment, human resources and talent portal.• Used my expertise in solving technical problems to improve the quality of our product through better design. Prior to my appointment the offshore developers had to make assumptions whenever their highly technical questions could not be answered sufficiently. Those assumptions often didn't meet the business requirements. I was able not only to improve our product but also improve our relationship with our software partners which lead to animprovement in quality.• On a project that was not related to our core product I gathered and analysed the business and strategy requirements of an order entry system for a billion dollar FMCG company leading to substantial cost reductions.* Company went into liquidation in February 2010
