I had assumed the appointment as PI in Regenerative Medicine at the Genome Institute of Singapore in February 2015. I leads the research group in Regenerative Medicine in the development and implementation of R&D strategies. I am applying precision in vivo functional genetics in mouse models to identify novel therapeutic targets for liver disease and regeneration. I have funding from NMRC, A*STAR and Johnson & Johnson. I also hold a concurrent appointment at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, where i closely work with Prof. Toh Han Chong on liver cancer and am Adjunct Professor at the Nanyang Technological University in the School of Biological Science. Furthermore, i am member of the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC) of the Biological Resource Centre in Biopolis.
