Besides that, to comply with local laws such as labor code, civil code and income tax law as well as local practices, I addressed tax and legal matters and led changes and corrections of internal rules and regulations such as work rules, tax processing and retirement benefit system.Dec. 2018 to Dec. 2020Cambodia OfficeI am in charge of handling the Private Partnership Program, Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Project and realization of Free Port Initiative. I also supported a Logistics Improvement Project that mainly aims to improve cross-border logistics environment and checkpoint operations. I gave consultation about the program scheme, business climates and local information to Japanese companies and comprehensively helped them do their survey and business. Regarding Sihanoukville Port SEZ, I supported capacity building of SEZ Department of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port and helped it attract investors, moreover intervene in possible deals.

I proposed to explore possibilities of doing business overseas then new department was set up and I got promoted to manager of the department. I began desk study on some countries with general information then implemented detailed on-site survey, particularly demand survey on industrial machine parts in Vietnam. I visited and met more than 100 Japanese local manufacturing companies (factories) and 20 possible local suppliers. Based on cool-headed analyses, while I finally reported its president that branching out in Vietnam could not bring us stable profit, I succeeded in obtaining several overseas customers and concluded international sales the company had never ever made.Besides that, I proposed to launch new business then established a subsidiary company that sold replacement parts of agricultural machines to repair workshops through catalogue and online. I took charge of a president role of the company, designed and planned everything from catalogue, website, operation system, exploitation of suppliers, advertisement to tax and legal practices.

Because it had a plan to go public, I dealt with auditing. From 2003, I became a responsible person working on company-wide single-year budget, midterm business plan and report on comparison of budget and actual figures.Management Planning Section October 2004I was transferred to newly established “Management Planning” section that involves planning of new business, feasibility study as well as corporate development, budget formulation and budget control. Besides that, I also took charge of supervisor position which oversaw directly managed drug stores and organized general meetings that more than 30 staff participated in.
