It operates as a subsidiary of AGR Group ASA with 1,553 professionals and in 2009 with annual turnover of $290M+.WHAT I DID: Led the AGR Sales Project for the CEO. After the 2008 financial crisis, AGR Petroleum Services was hit hard and needed to rejuvenate its sales efforts. The purpose of the Sales Project was to institutionalize an effective sales process built for scale and globalization, train all key employees on sales, eliminate silos and increase effectiveness in support of regional sales teams, and develop sales packages to present capabilities and value proposition to three types of clients. Deep immersion in the business: This included an audit of the company achievements, market research, focus groups, and in-depth interviews. Worked closely with regional leads to understand marketplace conditions and provide solutions that aligned with the region and the company business strategy. Built a stakeholder team in order to ensure buy-in, support and accountability. Directed a two-day sales workshop for sales and business development team. ◉ Provided sales and business development teams with right positioning, messaging, and a succinct “at a glance” capabilities messaging to tell the AGR story to customers, including presentations, 30+ case studies, website copy and brochures. ◉ Discovered during the brand audit, the regional offices had different methods for counting wells drilled. As a result, worked with the regions and instituted one drilling standard. This revealed by the end of 2009, AGR would drill well 400. Designed the "400 wells in 10 years" concept, and led the creation of a logo to commemorate the occasion, and used it as the foundation to communicate AGR's experience. -

ETHICS AND MEDIA PROJECT (GEGRAPHA): Assistant to Senior Fellow David Aikman, former TIME MAGAZINE foreign correspondent. ◉ Helped lay the groundwork for a journalist fellowship organization that became known as Gegrapha. Increased membership to 400 journalists in 8 months. Oversaw the creation and management of Gegrapha's website. Project director for image and logo design, as well as the creation of promotional materials. Applied research, communications and financial skills to generate interest and scholarship funding. ◉ Served as Associate Producer for a documentary titled "Vanishing Peace: the Aftermath of the Oslo Accords.” Aired by BBC World Service in 1999. Directed a 4-person research team to prepare historical analyses. Traveled to Oslo, Norway and obtained rare footage and interviews from the Oslo Accords' secret negotiations.
