My name is Tory Johnson and I currently reside in beautiful Montana. My main goal, professionally and personally, is to assist farmers and ranchers with their risk managment and marketing strategies to help them stay profitable year over year and to ultimately stay farming or ranching. A little more about my time in Montana, I spent most of my time so far in Bozeman where I studied at Montana State University and I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agricultural Business with a concentration in Agribusiness Management. After, I continued my education to get my Master’s of Science degree in Applied Economics and Predictive Analytics. I spent my first few years in Farm and Ranch risk management helping farmers and ranchers with their crop marketing and price risk needs through trading futures and options as well as working with local elevators and feed yards to help my clients get the absolute best prices possible for their hard work. After, I decided to shift my focus to the livestock side and joined the Marsh & McLennan Team as an Ag Risk Management Advisor. I work with ranchers along with farmers to help mitigate price risk through programs such as Livestock Risk Protection to make sure their operations continue year to year.
