I seldom hesitate to consider what may be possible. In my consulting, I bring a passion for the possibility technology provides to business. I have found that more is possible than most people are prepared to undertake. My role is to help prepare businesses to undertake the infinity of the possible. I have been on both sides of the consulting relationship since the mid ‘80s. In 1987 I started Bjorklund Consulting Services. Since then I have worked with companies to transform their businesses using technology. I have also started or co-founded manufacturing and software companies during that time. I have service as CEO, CTO, CIO and Chief Enterprise Architect in different companies. My primary business focus has been software, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and Supply Chain Management. I have extensive business experience and have designed, developed, and implemented software applications for engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and financial services companies for 35 years. I have been involved with the development of several custom applications centered around several ERP, MRP, EDM and CRM systems.

I also manage all customer contracts.I am currently only doing custom development work for Simplicity Software for very unique and challenging projects, primarily as a hobby.

I put together a development team that successfully created a Model-Driven, Real-Time Machinery Controls development system that took the cycle-time from 16 milliseconds to 250 microseconds with the same functionality on the same machine and could be programmed by someone with no programming experience. I also served as interim electrical engineering manager for one year and instituted a UML design methodology, unit testing and Behavior Driven Development to cut development time for one product line by 50%. I managed a group of over 20 technical people with a budget over one million dollars. For the last 15 months I managed the requirements definition and design of a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 implementation that included significant customization and integration with our CAD system. -

I also provided the architectural design and some of the development for their "single sign-on" and multi-desktop management application. Dairyland offered me a full-time position as VP of software development which I declined.
