It pushes content directly to your social media channels, as well as providing phone, SMS, email and web chat services for your customers. Our tools are honed for organizations with multiple levels, with regional divisions or franchises, providing consolidated analytics, monitoring, authorization, budgeting and rights management across business units and geographies. We also provide a scheduling service branded as Sweet Relish (sweetrelish.com).

We develop web-centric systems on a contract basis. Our first system, for Claris Healthcare (Ruby on Rails, iOS), helped win Best Presenter at the 33rd Angel Forum in Vancouver. We also delivered LincEdge (angular / employee sharing, NodeJS/TypeScript/Angular), the billing back-end for Daisy Labs (publishing, Flask/Python) and Omnistream (content management, chat and knowledge-base, Ruby on Rails/Angular).

Gust is headquartered in NY. I established a presence in Vancouver, and hired and managed the local dev team. Our team extended the angel / entrepreneur collaboration portal, and migrated Angelsoft (Gust) to Amazon's cloud. Gust.com is primarily written in Ruby on Rails and Java / JBoss. Gust garnered several awards during my tenure.

Dyaptive has been acquired by JDS Uniphase Corp.Drove the development of the DMTS-9000 3G load test system, which emulates hundreds of UMTS cell phones, from product inception through release 5.2. The DMTS-9000 includes a graphical user interface for test case planning and traffic analysis, and phone implementation, from the SDR PHY through wireless data applications. From a customer perspective the DMTS-9000 provides a city of virtual subscribers, with reproduceable traffic and handoff behavior, in a laboratory environment. Abstracted and repurposed the DMTS framework for the DMTS-8200 (EVDO) and DMTS-9200 (LTE) offerings. The DMTS-9000 has been adopted by Ericsson, Nokia-Siemens Networks, Qualcomm, and operators in both North American and Europe.

Managed application, protocol stack, DSP and FPGA resources; drove the development of the DMTS-9000 UMTS and DMTS-8200 EVDO products; simplified system architecture by consolidating processing into a multicore central platform; invented a general abstract syntax notation and built a compiler for UMTS, EVDO and LTE non-ASN.1 protocol messages. Designed and implemented a non-blocking / non-locking scheduling and queueing system for multicore CPUs, which allowed us to simulate close to 1000 cellphones on a pair of Xeon processors.

Led Voq product planning through delivery of secure enterprise and carrier applications for Microsoft Windows Smartphone 2002 and 2003, using a variety of messaging protocols and web services for Exchange, Lotus Notes, Novell Groupware and Linux application servers.

Product responsibility for embedded operating systems, device drivers, networking stacks and network management applications for wireless messaging systems used by more than 20 million subscribers on five continents. I played an active role in team presentations for key customers, such as the telecommunications ministry of China (MPT), and a vigorous role in protocol negotiations with competitors, such as Motorola.

Product responsibility from requirements analysis through delivery of a fault-tolerant X.400 email - fax gateway, which allowed South American governments to turnaround tax returns efficiently in an economic environment of hyper-inflation.

Developed DB apps for government and industry; distributed fault-tolerant scheduler for real-time X.400 messaging system for Canada Post; MinFile system for Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources. I was featured in the SHL Systemhouse 1989 Annual Report, six months after I graduated, for the solo development of a travel and logistics application for the Kemano Completion Project.

Using the Telocator Network Paging Protocol (an IP-like protocol broadly used by the wireless messaging industry before IP), I drove requirements through delivery for dial-up backup of leased-line networking; text messaging application; distributed billing application; remote login application.
