With 15 plus years of experience in an Office Admin/Support Role, Toshia has developed a deep passion for developing not only successful processes but a need to build the workplace culture. In her most recent role as People Operations servicing small home service businesses, Toshia has been able to make a large impact on like-minded career-oriented individuals and small business owners looking to grow their businesses. She is always looking for ways to learn and grow in her field and her commitment to expanding her knowledge and skill set fuels her desire to explore new opportunities and endeavors. Toshia stepped into a role in People Operations that had not been built to its full potential and worked out a hiring process, updated the training program, and established multiple new procedures to help other team members with professional development and accountability targets. The ultimate goal in her People Ops role was to build up the team based on the company's core values and lower employee turnover by creating a culture that focused on healthy retention. In Toshia's personal life, she enjoys spending quality time with her two teen children, which has allowed her to establish a great sense of community involvement and mentor local youth. She has spent the last 7 years coaching softball from the little league level through High School, coaching a junior cheer team, and supporting local FFA members. Having a particular fondness for coaching and bringing the same coaching techniques to the workplace allows her to bring a high level of discipline, competitive drive, and a motivating spirit to build the culture of her workplace. Toshia strives to maintain a positive and compassionate outlook toward others in all aspects of her life.
