I am a PhD student at University of Michigan (UoM) and passionate about research in Quantum Information Science, more specifically in Quantum communication and Quantum Algorithms.My expertise include Quantum Shannon Theory, Design of Quantum Variational Algorithms, Quantum Error correction, Fault Tolerant Quantum Computing and Quantum LearningMy research at UoM focuses on exploring two main problems, 1) a fundamental problem on characterizing the redundancy in quantum measurements which can help in minimizing the required quantum storage and communication , and 2) a more application based - quantum machine learning problem - where we try to learn a hypotheses from limited quantum data by performing repeated gentle measurements on the same quantum states.I am very much interested to know the current state-of-art in quantum computation, and to be able to work with people bringing quantum theory to practice. My masters is from the Electrical and Computer Science department at University of Michigan and my undergraduate is from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad with majors in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
