I managed a racially diverse caseload of justice-involved individuals (JIIs) and met with them on a regular basis. I wrote reports to the court and Parole Board and requested warrants when needed. I conducted home visits and monitored condition compliance. I also connected JIIs to culturally relevant community resources. I maintained detailed caseload notes and inputted sensitive information into multiple databases. I conducted risk-need assessments and built case plans collaboratively with JIIs.

I worked specifically with clients who are assigned to the Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Reduced Supervision, and Restitution caseloads. I met weekly with clients to discuss and problem-solve barriers to completing probation/parole requirements. I conducted monthly orientations and monitor clients’ substance abuse treatment and other court-ordered classes. I wrote compliance reports to the court and Parole Board, requested warrants when needed, and completed Bench Probation conversion and Earned Discharge reviews for eligible clients. I worked with courts to collect Restitution payments, and with the county’s Community Service department regarding client service-work hours. I also reviewed and screened incoming out-of-county client transfer requests and managed Local Control Post-Prison Orders.

I notified probation/parole officers of their clients’ arrivals, sorted and distributed legal materials, and answered various community corrections questions. I frequently used the database systems DOC, eCourts, and the Law Enforcement Database System (LEDS). As a member of the community service team, I inputted new court orders, PO sanctions, and work crew hours into the database Offender Program System (OPS). I also scheduled and prepared for weekly orientations, completed county transfers, and notified the correct parties of a client’s completion or incompletion of their ordered hours.
