I have voiced and produced over 25 TRAINING MODULES to be watched by hundreds of teachers, and 15+ videos created to help the autistic student population understand social issues such as the shut down due to the pandemic, mask wearing, school safety, personal behaviors, and more critically important topics. Knowing that I had a hand in positioning the wonderful special education teachers and students for success is my favorite part of this long term relationship!In addition to partnering with PGCPS, I narrated a 3 book fiction series for a wonderful Indie author, Ashley Erin. It’s truly a blast to bring out the voices in each student. Fusion Academy is the world’s most personalized middle and high school with a 1-1 teaching model that meets each student where they are. As a part-time teacher and mentor at Fusion Academy, I am privileged to work with and influence the lives of students in a deep and meaningful way. It is a thrill to hear the success stories of our graduates each June and know I had a direct impact on those I taught.How did I become a teacher? After all, I am not a career teacher, I am actually quite new as I only started in 2021. 2020!!After the pandemic, I was missing personal connections like so many of us. I was also missing soccer coaching and mentoring students as my own children grew up and went off to college.Known for being a great coach and mentor, a colleague of mine thought I was a great fit for Fusion. ** I am proud to say I am wrapping up my third year at Fusion as a part-time teacher. 🎤 The best part is that I work part time and can define my semester schedule to make sure I can keep my priority on my VO Bus – but what a joy it is to teach a couple of students 1-1 each semester.I have even brought the world of Voice Over to Fusion Academy! I have created two Voice Over classes for students to explore the industry and learn voice over techniques and skills. The first is an intensive week long summer camp and the other is a 10 week VO Forum. Each is a small group learning experience complete with recording in our campus state of the art studio!I am so lucky to have the opportunity to work with students not only teaching English, and other humanities electives (such as Sports & Entertainment Marketing, The Science of Mindfulness, Tutoring and more) but to create meaningful mentoring connections that will last a lifetime.

As a Director of Professional Services from 1999 to 2018, I led cross functional technical teams and managed a portfolio of top tier financial clients.While managing large complex implementation projects is exciting and challenging, my true creative side could not be pushed aside, so I asked to wear some different hats!While at Fiserv, in addition to my “day job” I was involved in creating process improvements, providing leadership mentoring programs, and creating leadership training. *** This is where I had the most fun - talking to a room full of listeners!After creating several training workshops and classes that I then delivered to teams of project managers, program managers, and technical leads, I knew I was good at keeping people engaged in training simply with my voice and energy. I wanted more! *** That’s when I started making a plan to take my technical skills and use them to be a great voice over talent. I learned so much when training my colleagues that I still use every day when delivering authentic and engaging narration for my VO projects.*** I retired from Fiserv in 2018 and started TO Voice!
