I have voiced and produced over 25 TRAINING MODULES to be watched by hundreds of teachers, and 15+ videos created to help the autistic student population understand social issues such as the shut down due to the pandemic, mask wearing, school safety, personal behaviors, and more critically important topics. As a part-time teacher and mentor at Fusion Academy, I am privileged to work with and influence the lives of students in a deep and meaningful way. It is a thrill to hear the success stories of our graduates each June and know I had a direct impact on those I taught.How did I become a teacher? After all, I am not a career teacher, I am actually quite new as I only started in 2021. 2020!!After the pandemic, I was missing personal connections like so many of us. I was also missing soccer coaching and mentoring students as my own children grew up and went off to college.Known for being a great coach and mentor, a colleague of mine thought I was a great fit for Fusion. ** I am proud to say I am wrapping up my third year at Fusion as a part-time teacher. 🎤 The best part is that I work part time and can define my semester schedule to make sure I can keep my priority on my VO Bus – but what a joy it is to teach a couple of students 1-1 each semester.I have even brought the world of Voice Over to Fusion Academy!
