Analyzed the Client’s loan files for key financial metrics and reviewed the valuation assumptions used to determine the fair market value of the real estate collateral. •Assisted a private equity firm in the contemplated acquisition of a commercial loan portfolio. Analyzed the seller’s real estate loan files, developing a buy/sell recommendation which was then presented to the buyer’s management team. •Provided guidance to a Healthcare REIT through their internal purchase price allocation of a 120 property senior living portfolio. Assisted the Client in developing appropriate methodologies to value the land, building, site improvements, FF&E and in-place lease intangibles.•Completed the appraisal and appraisal review of commercial real estate for valuation for financial reporting, purchase price allocation, and impairment purposes. Valuation experience with numerous property types including industrial, office, retail, senior living, hotel, multi-family, and other specific use properties.•Performed numerous sensitivity analyses to assess the potential impact of key valuation assumptions on the value of the real estate asset. •Developed ARGUS models used for the valuation of commercial real estate.
