Oversaw team of 6 Supply Chain professionals in managing service parts availability for new product launches, recalls, campaigns, high warranty and remanufactured parts. Directed service parts strategy, inventory turns, fill rates to customers, obsolescence, forecast accuracy, as well as expediting and resolving supply issues. Managed inventory of $40-45M over 8 part distribution centers.• Launched 8 major programs in 2015 with 100% of critical and 98% of all service parts available at launch. This included 3 programs which required procurement of all parts from OEM supplier in China for product support in Mexico which allowed team to achieve fill rates above plan (98%) and moved critical parts to dealers proactively, improving customer service. • Led lean project which developed new metrics and reporting that reduced past due purchase orders. Within 8 weeks of implementing new process, past due purchase orders were reduced 70%, and stabilized below targeted level. • Implemented remanufactured diesel particulate filter program that reduced warranty expense by managing core returns/fallout and working to seed program with new product which allowed customers to purchase lower cost option sooner and reduce company exposure to excess warranty expense.

Managed new model launches for service parts and managed team of 7 component engineers in releasing and maintaining service parts master system. • Led implementation of Parts Master system for new part setup team that required hiring team of component engineers, developing business requirements for new system, coordinating testing parameters, testing and training team to use system which was implemented on time and under budget. • Managed all high-warranty parts related to 2010 engine launch including working through transitions from inferior to improved parts and new service strategies that reduced warranty expense. Teamed with supply base in responding quickly to increased demand while keeping obsolescence risk to minimum.
