30 years as a classroom teacher seemed like the end of a journey. Since 2010 The Project Matters has been a life mission I’m proud to embark on in memory and honor of my beautiful boy, Benjamin High.By continuing to pay it forward, at The Project Matters, we hold ourselves to the highest standard, with a mission to help the musical arts thrive in ways that are yet to be imagined.At The Project Matters, we support the young artists like Ben - those who we want to see,| dream, create and be limitless. As a non-profit organization, we bridge the gap between music talents and the support needed to harness them. We provide funding, business, legal, emotional support, and performance opportunities for young artists in New Jersey. Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Project MattersThe Project Matters supports young musicians 25 years of age and younger, from New Jersey, with funding and a network of advisors from the music industry. This includes but is not limited to funding, studio time, music instruments,gear, performance opportunities, legal and business as well as emotional support. I co-founded The Project Matters in memory of my son, Benjamin High, a singer/songwriter who passed away at the age of 19. Since 2010, I’ve been directing the day to day operations and organizational tasks to ensure they align with our mission.
