Developed a new methodological approach to data collection, increasing the overall volume of AII (Arctic Infrastructure Inventory) records from 900 to 8,000+. Established the best practices for structuring the AII dataset, producing 300+ lines of customized python scripts which scrape data sources and clean errors in .csv, .html, .docx, and .txt files. Managed technical communications on methodology, producing reports published on the AII web portal and ensuring methods meet the needs of stakeholders like the US Arctic Research Commission.

Prototyped a novel coding schema to explore proliferation risks associated with Russia’s increasing market share in the global nuclear energy trade. Empowered my research team to perform the first comprehensive, structured comparison of U.S. and Russian nuclear trade treaties. Personally managed the assessment and coding of 60+ Russian-language documents that had never been analyzed by Western scholars. Conceptualized and framed policy recommendations for substantive security dialogue between my supervisors and NATO, UN, and EURATOM staff.
