As the Communications Director for a plumbing manufacturer representative, I lead a multifaceted role that integrates sales initiatives, product specifications, and strategic marketing efforts across various regions. I manage key communications with wholesaler & AEC stakeholders ensuring that our represented manufacturers’ products are properly understood and specified in both residential and commercial projects.In addition to managing external relationships, I am responsible for the complete internal training of our staff, equipping them with the product knowledge and technical expertise needed to effectively represent and sell our manufacturers' lines. This includes organizing accredited CEU programs and product training sessions tailored to the unique needs of our partners - corroborating both our team and our clients to be aligned with the latest industry standards and innovations.On the marketing side, I drive growth by developing and executing campaigns based on thorough sales metrics analysis. This includes creating content for social media, email marketing, and website development to ensure product visibility and alignment with manufacturer initiatives. I have also led multiple rebranding efforts, including website redesigns, logo creation, and the development of new training protocols following business acquisitions, enhancing our company’s footprint and streamlining internal processes.Additionally, I serve as the primary liaison for ensuring accurate plumbing product specifications across a range of architectural projects, helping architects and engineers integrate the most effective solutions for their designs. I regularly handle stakeholder issue resolution, leading de-escalation efforts to maintain strong relationships with our clients and partners.

I monitor and compile metrics across manufacturers to present to upper management for channel optimization. The sales data is used by the principals to build initiatives for sales agents to foster growth. In facilitating initiatives, I provide content-rich communications among channels to align company & manufacturer goals - including maintaining the company social media pages, website/web presence, and email marketing. I also provide training to sales and support staff on manufacturer procedures, company procedures, and product knowledge. Bi-weekly, I lead an operational meeting on Teams to provide updates from principals to encourage support staff momentum; this allows me to receive updates from support staff on the success of procedures or where we need improvement.In addition, I work with the principals and manufacturers to examine or establish product parameters in our market to remain competitive.

I manage the flow of sales with the support staff and report to upper management on overall workflow. On upper management instruction, I train staff on process changes to align company goals with manufacturer initiatives. I also manage the public company image through social media & web presence, which directly corresponds with manufacturer messaging.
