Directly responsible for managing a staff of technical and business specialists who are responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance of all property based technical systems.Ensures that operational processes and procedures support senior management initiatives, strategic objectives for Information Technology, and property initiatives.Participates in the development and implementation of all operational processes that link property support activities and corporate IT ensuring interoperability of the architecture, systems, and applications.Develops and administers all security procedures and operational controls for the physical environment / data assets of Caesar's Entertainment, Inc. in accordance with industry standards, Internal Audit, and regulatory controls.Facilitates and leads efforts to manage the life cycle of property IT assets, ensuring the appropriate technology is utilized, available resources are reused and standards are implemented. Maintains physical inventory of all IT assets. Manages the monitoring and performance of all property based Computer Systems, executing appropriate escalation and corrective actions for all hardware and software problems in accordance with pre-defined service agreements.Maintains the business relationship with significant vendors including manufacturers, suppliers and service providers.

Directly supervises the Deskside Support Specialists.Install, upgrade and maintain gaming hardware & software products.Plan and coordinate all hardware installations, changes and updates with vendors and users, adhering to the I.T. Change Control Process.Recommend application design changes to management and Enterprise IT to maximize resources.Analyze and recommend tools and service aids for system/network operation and problem determination. Report results from technical research, system performance reports and problem resolutions to upper-management. Collect and analyze system data for quality assurance of technical design and optimum system performance. Adjust system parameters to achieve peak system performance.Assists in planning by communicating with project/product teams, clients and vendors.

Provide second level support functions on all platforms including, but not limited to, AS/400, Windows Based PC’s, Telephony, Enterprise Networks, NT Server and UNIX.Provide second level support on all applications including, Time Keeping and Attendance, Audio Visual Systems & Point of Sale.Monitor and report system performance issues as necessary.
