Basic responsibility when I joined Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait B.S.C was to handle all matters relating to the staff which included the following functions: ➢ Training: Identifying training needs of the organization and organize developmental as well as technical training programmes, which seek to integrate the business with the individual. Sourcing external faculties for specialized training programmes➢ Compensation and Benefits: Scrutiny and compilation of data pertaining to all salary deductions and earnings to facilitate timely and accurate, payroll processing. Scrutiny and processing of benefits related documents to facilitate efficient administration of benefits. Study and analyze market trends related to compensation to determine Bank’s position relative to established benchmarks.➢ Recruitment: Facilitate the entire process of recruitment /selection by providing adequate support to the line managers such as scheduling, documentation etc. ➢ HR Policies: Formulating new HR Policies in consultation with the Top Management and revamping some of the old policies to continuously meet the changing needs of the business.➢ Performance Management: Instrumental in implementation of the new Job Descriptions and Performance Appraisal System for the Indian Operations.➢ Employee Relations: Working closely with the employees to help them resolve any grievances. Proactive in getting employee feed back in HR areas so that corrective measures can be initiated to keep up the staff morale. Co –ordinate with staff and outside agencies for matters relating to Income Tax and Medical Insurance. Documenting HR related activities. Maintaining Employee Details. Management of all matters relating to staff.
