As a Senior Software Engineer at Climate Corp, I led the design and development of asynchronous, model-based systems for seed product portfolio generation. My role involved maintaining and enhancing legacy services, crucial to the business core. During my contract with Monsanto (Bayer as of ~08/2018) I was involved with a number of projects in two organizations. My main work was with the X-Men team, working on a searchable repository that allows much easier communication, analytics, and auditing between science groups. I was responsible for modernizing the front end which using Bootstrap while still working on the Scala / Play Framework backend.The team I was on previously was moved from R&D to finance to help improve the development culture and environment. With the finance organization I worked on a customer payments system specializing in Node, React and Vue.
