• Developing category strategies for sustainable and optimal operations. • Ensuring continuity of services and meeting clients’ needs and expectations. • Identifying suppliers across Canada; supporting suppliers/vendors in meeting requirements of clients and the company in terms of compliance, vendor requirements, and utilization of appropriate business tools. • Working with FMs and engineering teams to identify, develop, and groom suppliers for achieving best services at optimal cost. • Developing fruitful working relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and suppliers. • Collaborating with NA Sourcing team on group bids, consolidation of spends, and identification of preferred suppliers. • Drafting contracts, Scope-of-work (SOW), Service-level agreement (SLA), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).• Monitoring contracts and evaluating the performance of suppliers through SRM.• Mentoring the sourcing team to identify innovative methods for achieving savings and cost avoidance. • Conducting spend analysis, developing and tracking financial plans and budgets.

 Handling Complete Indirect Procurement, Categories (IT HW/SW, HR and Facilities buys, Services, Corporate Services, AMC) Leading the Procurement team to achieve on time delivery at best cost. Internal stakeholder relationship management.  Overseeing Outright Purchase vs. leasing to arrive at TCO and taking informed decisions.  Leading the Logistics process, handling complete Inbound Custom Clearance, and compliance with statutory norms. Other responsibilities: Real Estate Broker relationship management, Site Identification, Real estate negotiations.

Category Mgmt of IT and Machinery & Equipment .Cost Reduction - Deriving the cost reduction plans with respect to company’s strategic objectives, considering the procurement volume and value, through alternate sourcing, alternate material, negotiations and indigenous efforts. Vendor Management – Selection of Vendors, Assessment of vendor capabilities and approval procedure Initiate and complete agreements with the down selected supplier. Identify the potential supplier based on the complexity/Type of the part/Technical Service and ensure the completeness of the quote process within time frame as required by the buying locations of company. Based on the quotes, negotiate for optimum cost and delivery to meet requirements. Monitoring their efficiency based on quality of supplies, delivery performance, and overall managerial abilities. Negotiate on successful development of the commodity/ Type of Technical Service, coordinate with Buying location and Supplier to enter into long term agreements for effective supply chain with suppliers Awareness on Environment management system, contribution towards conservation of energy by re-cycling scraps in to raw material and there by realizing the savings on conservation. Vendor selection and approval process coordination, developing a complete understanding of the company supplier requirements in identified commodities or Technical Services. Identify potential suppliers by compiling pertinent information such as Company History, Location, Size, Financial stability, Capabilities, Customers, Approvals, etc. Assess suppliers for meeting commodity/Technical Service, Quality requirements and identify gaps if any and help other in deciding on Supplier Selection. Coordinate supplier questions relative to business, product and process compliance issues, managing supplier performance metrics
